Hebrews
1:1 God, s,
1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, he worlds;
1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the y on high:
1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by iaained a more excellent han they.
1:5 For unto o me a Son?
1:6 And again, he angels of God worship him.
1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
1:8 But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre hteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.
1:9 Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefod, even thy God, hath anoihee hy fellows.
1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the hine hands:
1:11 They shall perish; but thou remai; and they all shall ;
1:12 And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be ged: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
1:13 But to ool?
1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them ion?
2:1 Therefore hem slip.
2:2 For if therpence of reward;
2:3 Ho heard him;
2:4 God also bearing them o his own will?
2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subje the oe, whereof we speak.
2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man that thou visitest him?
2:7 Thou madest him a little lohy hands:
2:8 Thou hast put all things in subje under his feet. For in that he put all in subje under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But no under him.
2:9 But h for every man.
2:10 For it became him, fh sufferings.
2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they hren,
2:12 Saying, I hee.
2:13 And again, I h given me.
2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likehe devil;
2:15 And deliver them o bondage.
2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
2:17 Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reciliation for the sins of the people.
2:18 For in that he himself hath suffered beied, he is able to succour them that are tempted.
3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, sider the "tle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
3:2 Who hful in all his house.
3:3 For this man he house.
3:4 For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.
3:5 And Moses verily er;
3:6 But Christ as a son over his ohe end.
3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice,
3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:
3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and say years.
3:10 Wherefore Iknown my ways.
3:11 So I s.)
3:12 Take heed, brethrehere be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, iing from the living God.
3:13 But exhort one another daily, fulness of sin.
3:14 For he end;
3:15 While it is said, To day if ye ion.
3:16 For some,by Moses.
3:17 But he wilderness?
3:18 And to ?
3:19 So er in because of unbelief.
4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise bei us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem toe short of it.
4:2 For unto us .
4:3 For he world.
4:4 For he spake in a certain place of the seventh day on this h day from all his works.
4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
4:6 Seeing therefore it remah that some must eherein, and they toin because of unbelief:
4:7 Again, he limiteth a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if ye s.
4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then her day.
4:9 There remah therefore a rest to the people of God.
4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.
4:12 For the .
4:13 her is there any creature that is not ma in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him o do.
4:14 Seeing then thatour profession.
4:15 Forsin.
4:16 Let us thereforee boldly unto the throne of grace, that ime of need.
5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
5:2 Whohavepassion on the ignorant, and ohat are out of the y.
5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.
5:4 And no man taketh this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.
5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, Thou art my Son, to day have I begotten thee.
5:6 As he saith also in another place, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh,he feared;
5:8 Though he hings which he suffered;
5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him;
5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
5:11 Of ered, seeing ye are dull of hearing.
5:12 For .
5:13 For every ohat useth milk is unskilful in the eousness: for he is a babe.
5:14 But stro beloo them that are of full age, even those h good and evil.
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doe of Christ, let us go on unto perfe; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead od,
6:2 Of the doe of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurre of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 And this .
6:4 For it is impossible for those ,
6:5 And have tasted the good oe,
6:6 If they shall fall ao an open shame.
6:7 For the earth h blessing from God:
6:8 But that o be burned.
6:9 But, beloved, hus speak.
6:1od is not unrighteous tet your er.
6:11 And he end:
6:12 That ye be not slothful, but follohe promises.
6:13 For er, he sware by himself,
6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I hee.
6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtaihe promise.
6:16 For men verily srife.
6:17 Wherein God, h:
6:18 That byo immutable things, inbefore us:
6:19 Which hope he veil;
6:20 Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, he kings, and blessed him;
7:2 Toalso King of Salem, which is, King of peace;
7:3 Without father, inually.
7:4 Nohe spoils.
7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, he loins of Abraham:
7:6 But he he promises.
7:7 And er.
7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of h.
7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, hes in Abraham.
7:10 For hehim.
7:11 If therefore perfe he order of Aaron?
7:12 For the priesthood being ged, there is made of y a ge also of the law.
7:13 For he of ar.
7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of hood.
7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
7:16 Who is made, not after the lahe power of an endless life.
7:17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of thema going before for the hereof.
7:19 For the lao God.
7:20 And inasmuch as not :
7:21 (For those priests he order of Melchisedec:)
7:22 By so much .
7:23 And they truly h:
7:24 But this man, because he tih ever, hath an ungeable priesthood.
7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost thate unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
7:26 For su high priest became us, he heavens;
7:27 Who h not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his ohis he did once, when he offered up himself.
7:28 For the laed for evermore.
8:1 Nohe heavens;
8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle,man.
8:3 For every high priest is ordaio ifts and sacrifices: o offer.
8:4 For if he he law:
8:5 Who serve unto the example and shado.
8:6 But noer promises.
8:7 For if that first ant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the sed.
8:8 For finding fault he house of Judah:
8:9 Not acc to the ant that I made he Lord.
8:10 For this is the ant that I o me a people:
8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Kno.
8:12 For I ies will I remember no more.
8:13 In that he saith, A neo vanish away.
9:1 Then verily the first ant had also ordinances of divine service, and a uary.
9:2 For there uary.
9:3 And after the sed veil, the tabernacleof all;
9:4 Which had the golden ser, and the ark of the ant overlaid round about ;
9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadoicularly.
9:6 Nohe service of God.
9:7 But into the sed he people:
9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the anding:
9:9 Which he sce;
9:10 Which stood only is and drinks, and divers ion.
9:11 But Christ beinge an high priest of good things toe, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made his building;
9:12 her by the blood of goats and calves, but by his oion for us.
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the un, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh:
9:14 Hohe living God?
9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the neance.
9:16 For or.
9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherh.
9:18 Whereupoher the first testamentblood.
9:19 For he people,
9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament o you.
9:21 Moreover he sprinkled ry.
9:22 And almost all things are by the la shedding of blood is no remission.
9:23 It hese.
9:24 For Christ is ered into the holy places made he presence of God for us:
9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest eh into the holy place every year hers;
9:26 For then must he often have suffered sihe foundation of the he sacrifice of himself.
9:27 And as it is appointed unto men oo die, but after this the judgment:
9:28 So Christ ion.
10:1 For the la.
10:2 For then he worshippers once purged should have had no more sce of sins.
10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.
10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.
10:5 Wherefore hou prepared me:
10:6 In burnt s and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.
10:7 Then said I, Lo, Ie (in the volume of the book it is hy will, O God.
10:8 Above he law;
10:9 Then said he, Lo, Ie to do thy he sed.
10:10 By theonce for all.
10:11 And every priest stah daily ministering andoftehe same sacrifices, ake away sins:
10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat do hand of God;
10:13 From heh expeg till his enemies be made his footstool.
10:14 For by onehe hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is ahe had said before,
10:16 This is the ant that I hem;
10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
10:18 Nohere is no morefor sin.
10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldo enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,
10:20 By a neo say, his flesh;
10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
10:22 Let us draer.
10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faithpromised;)
10:24 A us sider one ao provoke unto love and to good works:
10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exh one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approag.
10:26 For if here remah no more sacrifice for sins,
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, he adversaries.
10:28 He that despised Moses" lanesses:
10:29 Of ho of grace?
10:30 For he Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
10:32 But call to remembrahe former days, in ions;
10:33 Partly,were so used.
10:34 For ye hadpassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of yoods, knoance.
10:35 Cast not a rpence of reward.
10:36 For ye have need of patiehat, after ye have dohe he promise.
10:37 For yet a little arry.
10:38 No if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
10:39 But he soul.
11:1 No seen.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

11:8 By faith Abraham, .
11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange try, dhe same promise:
11:10 For he looked for a city ions, whose builder and maker is God.
11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to ceive seed, and hful who had promised.
11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand he sea shore innumerable.
11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but havihem afar off, and h.
11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a try.
11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that try from urned.
11:16 But noy.

11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the he king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
11:28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: o do were drowned.
11:30 By faith theseven days.
11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not h peace.
11:32 And s:

11:34 Quehe violence of fire, escaped the edge of the she aliens.
11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others ion:

11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:
11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they .
12:1 Wherefore seeingbefore us,
12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; hrone of God.

12:14 Follohe Lord:
12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, .
12:17 For ye knoears.
12:18 For ye are o the mount that might be touched, and that burned ,
12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of hem any more:
12:20 (For they could not ehat :
12:21 And so terribleMoses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)
12:22 But ye aree unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerablepany of angels,
12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, ,
12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the ne of Abel.
